尚立光電成立於2009年7月，設立於台灣台南市，主要從事光學方案的研發、設計、製造及銷售，設計方案主要為光學引擎模組，適用於微型投影機(Pico Projector)、頭戴型顯示器(HMD，Head Mounted Display)、抬頭顯示器(HUD，Head-up Display)等產品。
尚立光電研發團隊在光學領域已累積二十多年的光機設計、製造與市場行銷經驗，已成功開發出多款低功耗、高亮度、小體積的微型光機，可應用於外接式微型投影機及整合內嵌於各類手持式電子產品、玩具等，以滿足客戶產品輕薄設計需求。
近年來因應市場變化進而朝向虛擬圖像光學之開發，相關產品為：

Since its founding in July 2009 in Tainan County, Taiwan, Shinyoptics has been achieving continuous improvement in technology development and production efficiency improvement. Shinyoptics has also been offering customers cost-effective and high value-added solutions.
Shinyoptics's light engines are suitable to be embedded in portable systems such as Head-Up Display(HUD), see-through eyewear device, Head-Mount Display(HMD), smartphones, PDAs, media player, NB, portable games, toys, and standalone accessory projectors.
Using LED as an illumination source and LCOS as an imager, Shinyoptics's light engine achieved low-cost, low power consumption and high efficiency (high lumen and contrast) target.
ShinyOptics is focusing on “virtual image” optics recently, which include three different categories,
- Head Up Display (for Automotive)
- Helmet Mounted Display (for Motorcycle and Industry Application)
- Head Mounted Display (for Industry and Consumer)
